IMHO, ALL rooms at the Catalina are very nice..... in their own unique way! Those rooms you mentioned are some of the 'older', but are still always clean and well kept. They are also on the first level off the beach (with the pool), beach-front-facing with their own private little balconies/patios wrapped in bougainvilleas and palm trees.
