I was in Zih. (around 1969-70) when John Wayne was there.
His son was with him and about 5 BIG guys. John waved to everyone on the dock and they went on into town. Later during the day I noticed the ship was gone. It was a LARGE ship.
Never did hear any thing about a sinking. Cri-Cri

I happened to be out on the dock, and saw this ship in the harbor. Someone told me that it belonged to John Wayne,
and he was coming to the dock. There were very few people around, so it must not have been advertised.
