Yes, I'd recommend taking the Estrella de Oro buses to Morelia. I think it is about 315 pesos. The one that leaves / used to leave at 8pm from the other terminal takes much longer to get here.
In my experience it seems to take 8+ hours to get to Morelia from Zihuatanejo, and only 5 1/2 hours in the other direction. The last time I did it, in October, we left at 8pm and arrived at 5am.
Both of the bus stations are side by side, separated only by a small side street. Just tell your taxi driver que quieres ir a la central de estrella de oro and he will take you there.
They are right along the main highway going through town.
