Just stayed there Christmas week. It is a typical Holiday Inn, nothing special. I stayed there on points- can't tell you what it would cost. It's clean, the service was great, restaurant perfectly acceptable but "pricey", a fair walk to anywhere in town. ZIHUATANEJO

If you decide to stay there ask them to unlock and unload the refrigerator (minibar) for your use.
Without a little bit of spanish you will need to deal with the dayshift personnel at the desk for anything out of the ordinary- as in lost luggage- yes, we arrived without all of it!
Another poster recommended Puerta del Mar closeby- I also recommend staying there. That's where we have been the last number of years. Didn't stay there this trip only because it was not available for that week.
